Personal Opinion:
With former leader Jiang Zemin dead of old age and former leader Hu Jintao unceremoniously expelled from the recent party Congress, all power seems to accumulate towards Xi Jinping. With an unprecedented third term in office, it will be interesting how Communist China navigates this part of its history with the internal infighting secure. Xi's faction has won over the Shanghai and Youth League factions.
New challenges for China include the Taiwan question, the tech and economic war with US, the zero COVID policy, and many more.
