Millennial bilyonaryo Leandro Leviste has more than doubled his net worth in just six weeks after his pet project, Solar Philippines Nueva Ecija Corp., has bedazzled big and small investors.
Th 28-year old Yale dropout 70 percent in SPNEC is currently worth P12.1 billion on paper.
SPNEC has gained 117 percent from its initial public offering price of P1 and is currently the second hottest stock of 2022 (next only to businessman Arsenio T. Ng’s ATN Holdings).
With a market cap of P17.63 billion, SPNEC, which has yet to start commercial operations, is as valuable as the Sy-blings’ 2Go shipping and much bigger than the Po brothers’ Shakeys and Joey Concepcion’s RFM.
Leviste is currently finalizing plans to develop 10,000 megawatts of solar projects through an asset for shares swap between SPNEC and his original firm, Solar Philippines.
SP currently operates solar farms in Calatagan, Batangas with Kepco and Tarlac with ultra bilyonaryo Ricky Razon and it is building a another farm in Tanauan, Batangas with Razon.
