I think that decriminalization of libel should only apply to old school journalists, not bloggers/vloggers. The spread of fake news can be attributed to influences and bloggers/vloggers, some of which, who are reportedly paid by politicians, who use the internet and social media to deceive and sway opinion.
There is a big difference between true journalists and bloggers/vloggers/influencers because the former follow a standard that they learned through school and through practicing their profession. They are also held accountable for their job since they are working for the news networks and not for someone.
