Bilyonaryo Jefferson Roxas is leaving the board of condominium developer City & Land Developers (LAND) after 33 years.
Roxas informed the LAND board of his retirement on December 7.
The 79-year old Roxas, who served as chairman of LAND’s executive committee, was named emeritus board member dro his outstanding service and invaluable leadership.
Roxas’s sister, Helen, is the sister of LAND chairman Andrew I. Liuson.
LAND is a subsidiary of the Cityland group which was founded by Roxas and Liuson in 1979. LAND was formed in 1988.
Roxas has a 5.4 percent personal stake in LAND worth P170 million.
Roxas will be replaced by LAND director by Stephen C. Roxas who has been part of the Cityland group since 2004.
Land’s projects are Pacific Regency in Malate, Manila; Grand Emerald Tower in Ortigas Center, Pasig; Manila Residences Bocobo in Ermita, Manila; North Residences in Veterans Village, Quezon City, and One Taft Residences in Manila.
