The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is taking active steps to weed out illegal practitioners in the real estate industry.
I think this is a must for the department to tackle on since some unscrupulous people are selling properties without the necessary licenses/papers. This puts at a disadvantage real estate professionals who pay the right taxes/fees to practice the profession with utmost integrity. This also puts a risk to interested buyers of property if they are dealing with unlicensed individuals who may take their money and run away.
